Christmas Show

Purdue Musical Organizations to present
80th-anniversary Purdue Christmas Show

Purdue Musical Organizations will present four public performances of the 80th-anniversary Purdue Christmas Show on Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 7-8). More than 280 campus and community performers will be featured in the show, including members of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, Purduettes, Purdue Bells, University Choir, Heart & Soul, All Campus & Community Chorale and the PMO Kids Choir.

"This year's production has been designed to take our audience on a journey through time," said William Griffel, director of Purdue Musical Organizations. "We invite you to join us as we visit our show from its earliest beginnings back in 1933 all the way to present day."

Flu shots available Thursday and Friday in Stewart Center

The Center for Healthy Living will provide flu shots at Stewart Center on a walk-in basis Thursday and Friday (Dec. 5-6). Flu shots will be available to eligible groups at no charge from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 306.

A/P staff members invited to APSAC presentation

The Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC) will hold a brown-bag lunch and presentation for West Lafayette campus staff members on Friday (Dec 6).

Parking, lane restrictions set during Christmas Show
matinee Friday

Traffic in a two-block section of University Street near Purdue's campus will be restricted to one lane during the late morning and early afternoon hours of Friday (Dec. 6) in order to accommodate school buses for the annual Purdue Christmas Show matinee.

Purdue Today schedule for semester break

Purdue Today will reduce its publishing schedule during semester break. It will be published daily through Friday (Dec. 6), and then Dec. 9, 12 and 16. In the new year, Purdue Today will publish Jan. 6 and 9 before returning to the daily schedule on Jan. 13.

President Mitch Daniels lights the 30-foot-tall Christmas tree in Purdue Memorial Union's Great Hall at a ceremony on Tuesday (Dec. 3). The tree, along with Purdue Memorial Union Dining Services' 12-foot-tall gingerbread house, will be on display in the Great Hall through Dec. 15.

Volleyball's Nichol, Cramer garner All-Big Ten accolades

Three Boilermakers were honored as the All-Big Ten teams were announced on Tuesday (Dec. 3). Junior Val Nichol was named as an All-Big Ten selection, while redshirt senior libero Carly Cramer garnered honorable mention All-Big Ten acclaim. Redshirt senior Katie Griffin was named as Purdue's Sportsmanship Award honoree.

Webster named Big Ten's Punter of the Year

Cody Webster has been named the Big Ten's Eddleman-Fields Punter of the Year. He was also named first-team All-Big Ten by the conference's coaches and media.
