College of Agriculture strategic plan looks toward academic future

The College of Agriculture's 2009-2014 strategic plan is now available for public viewing on the Web.

The plan, which can be found here, includes the college's vision to prepare students to make a difference, conduct research with purpose that leads to discovery with impact, and to engage in a way that transforms lives and livelihoods.

"This strategic plan is the result of more than a year of effort on the part of Purdue Agriculture faculty, staff and students," said Jay Akridge, Purdue's Glenn W. Sample Dean of Agriculture. "This truly is our college's plan, and the engagement of everyone in Purdue Agriculture is critical to our success." More

Purdue Orchestra concert to package Gershwin, Copland, Bernstein and Wagner

In December 2008, West Lafayette pianist Jason Wu wowed Lafayette Symphony audiences with his rendition of Grieg's "Concerto in A Minor" as a Keller Competition winner. One year later, on Saturday (Dec. 5), he returns to the same Long Center stage to perform Gershwin's famed "Rhapsody in Blue" with the Purdue Symphony Orchestra. More
