The Purdue University page features lots of updated news, photos, videos and information about upcoming campus events. Visitors to the page will have the chance to interact with other Purdue fans on campus and around the world. Fans also can post their own photos of favorite campus locations, sporting events or Purdue memories.

ITaP trainers ready new faculty for technology use

ITaP's educational technologists are offering special one-hour training sessions for faculty members who are new to the West Lafayette campus and those who are interested in an overview of ITaP services. Sessions cover the services that ITaP offers to assist with instruction, as well as numerous online and lab resources. Sessions will be held (today) Aug. 24 through Sept. 1 in Stewart Center. Staff at Library Help Tent available to answer questions

'Meet the Schools' picnic

Nearly 5,300 new students participated in Boiler Gold Rush, a weeklong student orientation program that includes presentations, international student check-ins, a University Resource Fair, and welcome lunches and dinners. Boiler Gold Rush, which is coordinated by Purdue’s Student Access, Transition and Success Programs, took place Aug. 15-21. A photo gallery of the events is here.
