Sirens to sound as Purdue evaluates vendor's warning system

An outdoor warning siren system will be tested around 3:30 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 29) from the Purdue Police Department. Purdue emergency planning representatives will be on hand to review Federal Signal's CampusAlert system, which has a warning siren and the capability to send voice messages, said Ron Wright, director of campus emergency preparedness and planning. 'Holidays at the Union' to begin with Christmas tree arrival
