Open House at toy store celebrates STEM, engineering gift guide

ZIONSVILLE and WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —Parents and educators are invited to a Zionsville open house Friday (Nov. 20) to learn about STEM and engineering toys recommended in this year’s Engineering Gift Guide from Purdue University.
INSPIRE Research Institute for Pre-College Engineering put together a gift guide for the second straight year focused on nearly 90 fun and educational toys, books and applications.
The event, scheduled from 1-3 p.m. at Earth Explorer Toys, 27 E. Pine St., Zionsville, will feature a number of the top toys suggested in this year’s guide on display.
Representatives from INSPIRE who worked on the guide also will be on-hand to talk about the toys as well as the gift guide.
Copies of this year’s Engineering Gift Guide from INSPIRE will be available.
