AgrAbility webinar focuses on equipment choices

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The National AgrAbility Project at Purdue University is offering an interactive webinar to help operators of small farms make informed decisions when buying equipment.
The webinar, "Small Farm Guide to Selecting and Purchasing Equipment," will be on June 9, starting at 3 p.m. EDT.
Topics include asking the right questions during the search, conducting research, key things to know about new and used equipment and evaluating different options to determine which equipment best fits the needs of individual operators.
Shawn Ehlers, a sixth-generation grain farmer from southeastern Indiana and doctoral student in agricultural and biological engineering at Purdue, will host the program.
A question-and-answer session with experts from the National AgrAbility Project and Purdue will follow the presentation.
The webinar is free, but registration is required. To sign up, go to www.tinyurl/agrability by June 5. A link to the live program will be sent to those who register.
