New 'BoilerBot' to help resolve BoilerKey passcode issues

A new chatbot feature available on the ITaP webpage is designed to help faculty, staff and students quickly resolve passcode issues they may have with BoilerKey two-factor authentication. Dubbed “BoilerBot,” the new feature will help those who are unable to access the services protected by BoilerKey because they have lost access to their phone or because they have not set up self-recovery.

Purdue honored for counterintelligence contributions

In an on-campus ceremony on Aug. 16, the U.S. Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency recognized Purdue University as one of four recipients of its Excellence in Counterintelligence Award for fiscal year 2020. Those chosen were among more than 10,000 contractors considered. The honor places Purdue among the top universities in protecting sensitive national information from foreign adversaries.

Amanda Emmons

Emmons aims to be voice for others as 2022-23 MaPSAC chair

Amanda Emmons has always been a natural leader. In the nearly 15 years she has worked at Purdue, Emmons has consistently served as the point of contact for questions within her department. When she first saw the application to join the Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (MaPSAC), she knew she had to apply. Now, Emmons will be serving as the 2022-23 chair for the group.
