'The Next Giant Leap': Purdue unveils evolved brand

It takes lots of small steps and persistence to make giant leaps. Purdue is rolling out an evolved brand to further unify how the Purdue story is told by the campus community, focused on Boilermaker determination and achievements toward building a better world together.

Black History Month

EVPRP social media to celebrate Black History Month at
Purdue

The Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships (EVPRP) will commemorate Black History Month in celebration of the achievements of Purdue faculty, staff, students and alumni of African descent. Each day in February, EVPRP will post on its social media account, Research at Purdue, many of the undertold stories reflecting the historic milestones and scholarly research by Purdue University black men and women.

Daniels honored for
Healthy Rivers Initiative

Wabash River Development and Beautification Inc., on Thursday (Jan. 30) celebrated 10 years of work on the Healthy Rivers Initiative at a winter luncheon in Terre Haute, where President Mitch Daniels received an award for his work in creating, at the time of its launch, the state’s largest land conservation project, the Healthy Rivers Initiative.

Employee survey reminder

Employee engagement
survey to end Wednesday

Staff, including continuing lecturers, on the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses have until Wednesday (Feb. 5) to participate in an employee engagement survey. The survey invites these employees to share their opinion about Purdue as a workplace as well as about what is most important to them. The survey does not include faculty.
