New faculty members welcomed, introduced with brief profiles

President Mitch Daniels held a reception for new faculty members on Aug. 14 at the Spurgeon Club in Mackey Arena. New faculty on Aug. 16 participated in orientation, which included presentations on diversity and inclusion, tenure and promotion, and faculty partnerships with technology; breakout sessions on students, research and campus climate; and an information fair.
