Research leader tapped as Purdue dean for College of Engineering

Purdue has chosen an award-winning researcher in networks engineering and a leader in educational innovations from Princeton University as the next John A. Edwardson Dean of the College of Engineering. Mung Chiang, the Arthur LeGrand Doty Professor of Electrical Engineering, was selected from a group of three finalists following a national search. He will assume the position on July 1.

Purdue’s top students to be recognized at 2017 commencement

Purdue will honor some of its highest academic-achieving graduating seniors May 12-14 during commencement ceremonies. The University’s top female and male students are Cameron S. Mann from the College of Agriculture and Peter C. Boyd from the College of Science.
