Spring Presidential Lecture Series to continue with renowned philanthropist, investor

Stan Druckenmiller, a renowned philanthropist and investor, will continue Purdue's Spring 2017 Presidential Lecture Series. Druckenmiller will join President Mitch Daniels for an hourlong conversation and audience Q&A session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 1) in Stewart Center's Fowler Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

K-9 officers play an important role in keeping students safe

Lt. Andy Standifer became the Purdue Police Department's first K-9 officer in 2008 when a Dutch shepherd named Nicky joined the force as his partner. Eight years later, there are three K-9s in the department. Purdue Alumnus magazine delves into how each partnership takes dedication from the officer and the department.
