Next steps outlined for teams entering MacArthur grant competition

Purdue is continuing system-wide assistance to teams preparing proposals for the MacArthur Foundation's offer of $100 million as a single grant to solve a critical world problem. To maximize and coordinate Purdue's efforts, a schedule of steps for the next 10 weeks will provide timely help.

20 Indiana composite materials companies join Purdue to dedicate $50 million energy-saving research institute

More than 300 people and about 20 Indiana composite materials companies on Tuesday (July 26) celebrated the opening of the $50 million Indiana Manufacturing Institute, based in the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette. The institute will house the Center for Composites Manufacturing and Simulation, the Product Lifecycle Management Center and the Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center.
