FAQs, guidelines released for 2015 winter recess

Last week, the Board of Trustees approved the addition of a three-day winter recess on Dec. 28-30 for faculty and staff on all Purdue campuses. Human Resources has created frequently asked questions and pay practices for the winter recess. Any questions about the winter recess can be addressed to hr@purdue.edu (include Compensation in the subject line) or 49-42222.

Thumbs Up: Dale Yantis

Since 2010, Purdue Today has invited faculty and staff to recognize the good work of others on campus through its weekly "Thumbs Up" feature. The newsletter periodically will publish an expanded version of this popular feature in an effort to further call attention to employees' excellent work. Today, Purdue Today features Dale Yantis, refrigeration mechanic in Operations and Maintenance.
