Tom Vilsack

U.S. ag secretary Vilsack to visit Purdue today, Tuesday

President Mitch Daniels is pleased to announce that U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will make an important visit to Purdue's West Lafayette campus today and Tuesday (Nov. 17 and 18). The visit includes Vilsack's presentation at 6:30 p.m. today as part of the Fall 2014 Presidential Lecture Series.

Memo: Adverse winter weather procedures

If adverse weather conditions necessitate that a wind chill, snow or ice emergency be declared for the West Lafayette campus, special procedures pertaining to classes, operations, parking, pay and/or attendance will become effective. Carol Shelby, senior director of environmental health and public safety, describes procedures for adverse winter weather in this memo.

Brad Paisley to perform at Purdue on Feb. 7

Brad Paisley

Country singer Brad Paisley, along with Parmalee and The Swon Brothers, will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 7 at Elliott Hall of Music. This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations and the Purdue Student Concert Committee with support from the Student Fee Activities Board.
