Purdue Profiles: Ianthe 'Cookie' Bryant-Gawthrop

Every year, Ianthe "Cookie" Bryant-Gawthrop's research regulatory compliance team reviews at least 1,000 research agreements in various stages and helps Purdue's investigators comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Bryant-Gawthrop is director of research regulatory compliance in the Office of the Vice President for Research. With her three-member team, she helps researchers across campus navigate the complex waters of research compliance.

Final provost candidate presentation set for Monday

The third of three finalists for the position of Purdue provost will make a public presentation at 9:30 a.m. Monday (April 21) in Stewart Center's Fowler Hall. The finalist is Dr. Cato T. Laurencin, CEO of the Connecticut institute for Clinical and Translational Science, professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering, professor of materials engineering, professor of biomedical engineering, and the Albert and Wilda Van Dusen Distinguished Endowed Chair Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut. Registration open now for Center for Healthy Living weight management series

The Center for Healthy Living will offer two start dates in May for its 12-week weight management series. The center is taking registrations now.
