The Center for Technology Development connects Purdue researchers with industrial partners to produce technology that addresses real-world, 21st-century problems. Housed in the College of Technology, the center formed in January 2012. Its mission is to advance technology development through innovation and applied research and engineering, says Haiyan "Henry" Zhang, center director.

The Office of Institutional Equity and Human Resources are offering a series of sessions designed to assist supervisors in developing and refining their staff hiring and employee retention skills.
Risk Management, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Ethics and Compliance and with Human Resources, is announcing the availability of the Risk Management Employment Claims Initiative education program. Participation in this program helps units meet the criteria for the new insurance deductible reduction offered by Risk Management announced on July 1, 2013, in a Purdue Today article.
The 100th annual Road School Conference being held on the West Lafayette campus Monday-Thursday (March 10-13) will result in a higher volume of cars in several parking areas on campus. The busiest conference days are expected to be Tuesday and Wednesday. Faculty, staff and students who drive to campus should plan accordingly.

The fourth-seeded Purdue women's basketball team heads to Indianapolis this weekend for the 2014 Big Ten Tournament, opening play at 2:30 p.m. Friday against the winner of Thursday's first-round game between fifth-seeded Iowa and No. 12 seed Illinois.
