The College of Science specializes in the entire process of innovation -- from discovery to delivery. In its buildings, lecture halls and labs, everyone from freshmen to tenured professors is in on the latest scientific and technological breakthroughs.
The process from an idea to hitting the market can be long and arduous. However, the College of Science has been helping breed new products, drugs, instrumentation and software for decades. Faculty and staff news
Purdue today (July 1) announced that S. Laurel Weldon will serve as the University's interim vice provost for faculty affairs following the July 12 departure of Beverly Davenport Sypher.
Risk Management is instituting changes to its insurance program to encourage good loss identification practices and loss prevention habits in line with Enterprise Risk Management practices.
A section of Grant Street in front of Purdue's main campus area will be closed to traffic the week of July 8-12 due to the construction of Bailey Hall.

Purdue Today will reduce its publishing schedule this week due to the July 4 holiday. It will be published today (July 1) and then resume on July 8.
