PALS youth camp

12th PALS camp to help more than 500 local youth

An annual Purdue summer program that has benefited nearly 3,000 low-income Tippecanoe County children for more than a decade by providing lessons about sports and healthy living, also is boosting campers' self-esteem and interest in physical activity, according to new research. The Purdue Athletes Life Success program, which serves children who qualify based on income guidelines, began its 12th year on June 13 and will run through July 12.

The Office of Institutional Equity has announced the 2013 Web Accessibility Award recipients: the Krannert School of Management undergraduate website and the Institute for Accessible Science Hub.

Business Services has provided an update on the implementation of Concur Travel and Expense, which began in January, and a summary of the system's features such as software, travel agency support, Visa travel cards and ongoing training.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Title IX, Purdue has recognized 40 individuals with the Title IX Distinguished Service Award for their significant contributions to the advancement of gender equity in education. Mitch and Cheri Daniels fund scholarships for 2 to attend Purdue

A student from New Albany High School and one from The Oaks Academy have received a newly established Purdue scholarship, which will cover many of their undergraduate academic expenses for four years. President Mitch Daniels and his wife, Cheri, are funding the new scholarships.
