Purdue wins Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament title

Reigning champion Purdue won its conference-best ninth Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament title with a 62-47 victory over fourth-seeded Michigan State (24-8). The third-seeded Boilermakers (24-8) improved to 37-10 all-time in the conference's championship tournament and to 9-4 in the championship game.

New, temporary pedestrian traffic restrictions will be installed beginning today (March 11) near 516 Northwestern Ave. as construction continues on Seng-Liang Wang Hall.

Center for Healthy Living not for work-related injuries or work-related travel immunizations

The Center for Healthy Living is not an approved treatment facility for work-related injuries and illnesses, as Purdue has chosen to focus the center on primary care and wellness services for now.

Spring Fling will return to recreation center

Spring Fling will return to its previous location at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on May 23.

Speaker to discuss students' educational struggles

Michael Wesch, a nationally known professor who studies the issues students face when learning in today's classroom, will give a talk and conduct a question-and-answer session March 18 at Purdue.

Purdue Today will reduce its publishing schedule during spring break. It will be published today (March 11) and Thursday (March 14). Purdue Today will resume daily publication on March 18.

Purdue professor studies how 2011 Japan earthquake increased, decreased risks on other fault lines

A Purdue geophysicist is studying how earthquake risks in other areas of Japan were affected by the March 10, 2011, Tohoku earthquakes that led to a devastating tsunami and nuclear reactor meltdown.

Men's basketball heads into Big Ten Tournament as No. 7 seed

With wins in two of its last three regular-season games, the Purdue men's basketball team claimed the No. 7 seed at this week's Big Ten Tournament in Chicago. The Boilermakers will face 10th-seeded Nebraska at 6:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at the United Center.

Boilermakers finish 9th at Big Ten Wrestling Championships

The Purdue wrestling team finished 9th at the 2013 Big Ten Championships. Scoring 38 team points, the Boilermakers have four individuals automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships and three more eligible for at-large bids.
