Research demonstration, advanced tips to be shared at Qualtrics spring break workshop

A demonstration of research applications for the online survey tool Qualtrics, in addition to advanced tips, is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. March 15 as part of ITaP's series of spring break workshops. Interested faculty and staff may reserve a seat by visiting the ITaP training calendar.

Parking garages to be busier during Road School

The Purdue Road School, a large conference today to Thursday (March 5-7), will increase usage of most parking garages on campus. As an alternative, faculty and staff can park in the Discovery Park lot and ride the 19 Inner Loop bus to near many campus buildings.

Purdue Today schedule for spring break

Purdue Today will reduce its publishing schedule during spring break. It will be published Monday (March 11) and Thursday (March 14). Purdue Today will resume daily publication on March 18.

Japan's history of a strong central government is evolving as the country continues to rebuild from the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear power plant meltdown, says a Purdue expert.

Purdue will partner with the Lincoln Leadership Institute at Gettysburg, Pa., to offer a course in organizational leadership that includes three days at the Civil War battle site.

Purdue officials announced Monday (March 4) that Delta Chi fraternity has been placed on probation.

Boruch wins prestigious poetry award

Marianne Boruch, professor of English, has won the $100,000 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award for her book "The Book of Hours." The award, given to a mid-career poet, was announced by Claremont Graduate University in a news release.

Softball announces promotional dates for 2013 home season

The home softball season is just three weeks away, and tickets will be available for free or at discounted rates for seven dates. On April 21, Purdue faculty and staff will receive $1 admission to the 1 p.m. game against Nebraska as part of Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day.

Five from women's basketball garner Big Ten honors

Five members of the Purdue women's basketball team were among those honored Monday (March 4) by Big Ten Conference coaches and media.
