Multidisciplinary team seeks sustainable water treatment solution

A team built across several of Purdue's disciplines is working to create lasting solutions for clean water in developing countries. Purdue's group is a collaboration of professors, graduate students and undergraduate students from civil engineering, environmental and ecological engineering, nursing, biology, food science and agricultural economics.

Purdue to freeze tuition for two years

Purdue announced Friday (March 1) that it will freeze tuition and most fees at current levels for the next two years for students at the West Lafayette campus. The last year without a tuition increase was 1976.

The Office of Institutional Equity is offering the following opportunities in recognition and celebration of Disability Awareness Month.

Lecture series will introduce supercomputing to new users, beginners in any field

ITaP Research Computing (RCAC) is sponsoring a series of presentations that will introduce supercomputing to faculty and their students in any field. The weekly lectures, called "Supercomputing in Plain English," will be held from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesdays March 5 through April 9.

PEAP schedules trip to Indiana Grand Casino

The Purdue Employees Activity Program, a subcommittee of the Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee, is sponsoring a trip to Indiana Grand Casino on April 20.

Vanessa J. Castagna appointed alumni trustee to Board of Trustees

The Purdue Alumni Association announced that Vanessa J. (Dingledine) Castagna has been appointed to serve as alumni trustee to the Board of Trustees.

Purdue claimed 29 total awards Tuesday evening (Feb. 26) during the American Advertising Federation of North Central Indiana's annual ADDY Awards presentation.

Purdue Calumet women's basketball claims at-large bid to NAIA tournament

The Purdue Calumet women's basketball team jumped up to the No. 13 spot in the final regular season NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, earning an at-large bid to next week's 22nd annual State Farm-NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Tournament.
