In the Spotlight
Three highly regarded European films will combine with the ambience of a traditional downtown theater in the coming weeks to provide a vintage cinematic excitement in Purdue's World Film Forum.
Faculty and staff news
The third President's Forum of the fall semester will feature a panel discussion on innovation and commercialization. The forum is scheduled for 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 6) in Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom.
WorkLife Programs offers classes on a variety of topics designed to educate employees and improve their overall health.
"Thumbs Up" gives faculty and staff the chance to recognize others on campus for a job well done.

Research news
A Purdue farm near the West Lafayette campus now has about 10 acres of certified organic land, putting researchers in a stronger position to help develop more effective organic farming practices.
General news
Purdue saluted veterans and active duty military personnel on Saturday (Nov. 3). Activities included video and music tributes and recognition of students in the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities program, which is aimed at helping post-9/11 veterans with disabilities start their own businesses. The EBV students arrived at the game with the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band, and later that day received certificates from Lt. Gen. C.D. Moore II, commander of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
It's not too late to apply to the Krannert Weekend MBA program starting in January, and scholarships are still available for qualified candidates.
Purdue officials on Thursday (Nov. 1) announced that a campus fraternity has been suspended for violating University alcohol and hazing regulations.
