Before the team takes the field and the referee calls for kickoff, Purdue staff members play their part in making football games successful. Each Friday before a home game, a staff member who is integral to game day will be featured in Purdue Today's Game Starters series. This week's Game Starter is Seth Schwartz, assistant director of student services for
Purdue Athletics.

* Boiler Bridge Walk and pep rally: The Boiler Bridge Walk will start at 5:40 p.m. today (Oct. 5) at the fountain on the West Lafayette side of the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge. The pep rally follows at 7 p.m. at the Class of 1980 courtyard between Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center.

* The Purdue football team takes on Michigan at 4 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 6). Ticket information is at www.purduesports.com.

* Before the game, Purdue Bands & Orchestras will present "Thrill on the Hill" at 2 p.m. at Slayter Center.

* Boilermaker Depot: One-stop online resource for all game-week activities and spirit initiatives.
