Near the east entrance of Steven C. Beering Hall of Liberal Arts and Education, an unnamed sculpture stands 9 feet tall in honor of President Emeritus Steven Beering. The sculpture was installed in 2003 as a gift to the University from Spanish artist Faustino Aizkorbe. Read more...

Today's benefit enrollment events

Today (Nov. 10), a walk-in lab will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. in Physics Building, Room 026, and Flexible Spending Accounts presentations will be held at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m. at Stewart Center, Room 322. For a schedule of remaining live sessions and additional help during benefits open enrollment, visit the open enrollment home page at www.purdue.edu/hr/Benefits/enroll.html. Open enrollment ends at midnight on Nov. 24.

To meet the needs of staff in remote locations and those unable to leave their desks to attend a presentation, WorkLife Programs is offering webinars this fall. South River Road traffic shift announced

Traffic on South River Road will shift onto the newly constructed lanes at or after 1 p.m. today (Nov. 10), the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced. The traffic shift also will entail turning off the traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 231 and South River Road. Traffic on South River Road will be controlled with a stop sign.
