Building Purdue Intercollegiate Athletics
Beyond the facelift that accompanies upgraded facilities on campus, Purdue Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to achieving top-25 competitiveness alongside classroom excellence in all sports. Seven of 14 varsity head coaches are Purdue alumni, and all are revamping recruiting efforts -- both close to home, nationally and internationally -- to best suit the needs of their teams. As the end-of-summer construction closes in on the final stages of the Mackey Arena renovation, athletics director Morgan Burke and a few coaches weigh in on the various Boilermaker teams.
