20 buildings in Purdue Village without power

The Purdue Fire Department has reported that 20 buildings in Purdue Village are without power due to overnight storms. The buildings will likely have no power most of the day. The community center in Purdue Village has been opened for residents to use until power is restored. Updates on the situation will be available at www.purdue.edu as they become available.

Big Ten announces women's basketball tournament bracket

The Big Ten Conference announced on Sunday the bracket for the 2011 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament, and the Purdue women's basketball team has drawn the No. 7 seed. The tournament will be held March 3 to 6 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Read more...
