Purdue Saves Week: Today's tip on saving for retirement

Saving as little as 1 percent of your pay over a number of years can make a significant difference in reaching your retirement goals. Down the road, it's a lot easier to increase your contribution when you've already made the effort to start. For more information, register for one of the Purdue Saves Week presentations or visit the information tables staffed by WorkLife Programs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the west lobby of Stewart Center. Representatives from Fidelity also will be on hand to answer questions and schedule individual financial counseling appointments for those interested.

College of Engineering to honor distinguished alumni

The College of Engineering will honor 10 distinguished alumni today (Feb. 25). "These alumni represent the highest ideals of the College of Engineering," said Leah Jamieson, the John A. Edwardson Dean of Engineering. "They are accomplished and inspiring, and they have taken on the task of improving our world." Read more...
