Purdue professor studies the pain of ostracism

Since seeing a documentary on the subject in the late 1970s, Kip Williams has been interested in ostracism, the act of ignoring or excluding, and its sometimes tragic consequences. On Sunday (Jan. 16), fans of all ages are invited to attend Purdue's National Girls and Women in Sports Day, which will feature a free event before the women's basketball game against Northwestern.
