Game Starters: Heather Hoesly, promotions
Before the team takes the field and the referee calls for kickoff, Purdue staff members play their part in making football games successful. Throughout the season, Purdue Today has highlighted staff members who are integral to game day in its Game Starters series. * The Boiler Bridge Walk will start at 5:30 p.m. Friday (Nov. 26) at the fountain on the West Lafayette side of the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge.
* The Purdue football team takes on Indiana at noon Saturday (Nov. 27). Ticket information is at www.purduesports.com.
* A public tailgate party with the Purdue University President's Council will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Lambert Fieldhouse. Read more...
* Before the game, Purdue Bands & Orchestras will present "Thrill on the Hill" at 10 a.m. at Slayter Center. After the game, Purdue's "All-American" Marching Band will march from the stadium to Purdue Mall for a concert.
