Last week, Purdue highlighted its sustainability efforts through Green Week 2009. The week featured a series of activities around campus that were designed to educate and motivate those wanting to do more to preserve the environment. Green Week included the unveiling of Purdue's new recycling plan, the grand opening of the plant-covered roof at Schleman Hall, an alternative energy transportation show and a community-wide cleanup of a local portion of the Wabash River.
