Purdue's Discovery Park will offer an Afternoon for Educators program from 3-5 p.m. today (July 31), providing Indiana middle and high school teachers with tools to excite students about science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Led by Chris Foster, who directs Discovery Park's P-12 efforts in science, technology, engineering and mathematics education, Afternoon for Educators is designed to become an annual event for teachers preparing for the upcoming school year. More than a dozen local and area teachers and administrators in the STEM disciplines are expected to participate in this week's event.
