among top 10 nationally

Purdue's College of Engineering placed among the nation's best undergraduate programs in U.S. News & World Report magazine rankings released Friday, Aug. 17.

The College of Engineering tied for ninth nationally among doctoral-granting public universities, sharing the slot with Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Texas. More

Krannert's undergraduate program
ranked in top 25 by U.S.News

Purdue's Krannert School of Management undergraduate program is among the top 25 nationally in U.S.News & World Report rankings released Friday, Aug. 17.

The Krannert School shares the No. 21 slot with Georgetown University, the University of Arizona and the University of Maryland. The Krannert School is tied for No. 12 among business schools at public universities. More

Purdue University Residences experiences full house

Freshman move-in day
Purdue University Residences expects to fill nearly 12,000 beds with on-campus residents by the beginning of the fall 2007 semester Monday (Aug. 20).

More than 5,100 beginning students moved in last week prior to Boiler Gold Rush, a multi-day orientation program for new students. Nearly 90 percent of beginning students elect to live in University Residences. More

Purdue's Latino Cultural Center will celebrate Latino Heritage Month with a series of events following the theme "Igniting Our History."

Purdue's events are part of the national Hispanic Heritage Month, established as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 and expanded in 1988 to a full month-long celebration, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. More
