Oliver Winery gardensPurdue Master Gardeners in Monroe County with Amy Thompson, Extension Educator, Purdue Extension- Monroe County, and the Purdue Master Gardener State Office hosted the 2017 Purdue Master Gardener State Tour. Over 100 Purdue Master Gardeners from across Indiana met in Bloomington, IN at the Monroe County fairgrounds on June 16, 2017 to enjoy some great presentations, snacks, and a boxed lunch before embarking on a choice of one of three fabulous garden tours in the Bloomington area. Tour 1 featured the Wylie House Native and Heirloom Garden, Monroe County Courthouse Native Plant Garden, and Indiana University’s Dunn’s Woods. Tour 2 visited Harvest Moon Flower Farm and Eco Logic Plant Nursery. Tour 3 made a trip to Growing Opportunities Hydroponic Greenhouse with Goldleaf Hydroponics. All tours made a stop at Oliver Winery to tour the gardens and of course, do some shopping!
