Garden with flowers and a butterfly metal sculpture

You’re invited to enjoy northwest Indiana’s premier Garden Walk on Saturday, June 24 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 pm CDT. That day, Porter County Master Gardeners Association will showcase 7 outstanding and quite lovely private gardens in Valparaiso and Chesterton. Master Gardeners at each location will explain plantings and answer questions.

Garden Walk 2023 is a must see! This year’s gardens offer a beautiful variety and an abundance of ideas, plus a chance to wonder at the creativity and dedication of their creators. There are fountains and raised vegetable beds, windmills and a show-stopping tri-color beech more than 40 years old, and so much more.

All tickets are $10; children under 12 are free. Tickets are available 2 ways:

  • NOW: on Eventbrite at https://pcgardenwalk2023.eventbrite.com/
  • LATER: In person on Walk Day (June 24) from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Cooks Corners Elementary School, 358 Bullseye Lake Road in Valparaiso.
  • Garden locations and map are available with ticket purchases.

Eventbrite ticket purchase automatically enters your email address in drawings for valuable prizes donated by Walk sponsors. Prize winners’ emails will be randomly chosen at 8 pm on Friday, June 23, and winners will be notified by email on FRIDAY EVENING so they can pick up their prizes during Saturday’s walk.  Be sure to purchase tickets by 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, to be included in the prize lottery!

Cameras are permitted. Pets are not allowed. The Walk will take place rain or shine. Individual gardens may not be stroller or handicapped accessible.
