Featured speaker this year is Carol Michel, a lifelong gardener, garden blogger and award-winning author and owner of the world’s largest hoe collection. Ms. Michel informative and humorous presentation is Twelve Secrets to Happiness in Your Garden.

In addition, Master Gardeners will provide educational booths on the following topics:

  • Selection of Native Trees, Planting, and Care.
  • Pollinator Friendly Habitats.
  • Identifying and controlling insects.
  • Purdue Master Gardener Program.
  • Starting and Growing Marigolds and Vegetables.
  • Preview of Spring Plant Sale.
  • Community Bee Keepers
  • Hancock County Soil and Water Conservation

Refreshments will be available along with lots of free give-aways, including seed packets, native tree seedlings, handouts and more.

  • 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM…Sign in, pick up  door prize tickets and visit informational booths.
  • 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM…Presentation by Carol Michel; Twelve Secrets to Happiness in Your Garden.
  • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM…Carol Michel available for meet and greet and book signing. Educational booths re-open and door prize drawings
