2025 Purdue Extension Master Gardener (EMG) State Conference

We’re excited to invite Purdue Extension Master Gardener (EMG) programs to participate in the 2025 State Conference Poster Session! This is a great opportunity to showcase the impactful projects your EMG group has completed or is currently offering in your community.
Each participating group is encouraged to prepare a poster that highlights a successful EMG project, including its goals, activities, and community impact. Projects must have been completed since 2020 or be ongoing.
Poster Guidelines:
- Size: 36” (H) x 48” (W), mounted on foam core or similar backing.
- Content: Include project photos, your EMG group’s name and background, and relevant project details.
- A PowerPoint template is available to help you design your poster. Posters may also be handmade, but must meet size and legibility requirements.
- Font: Use a minimum of 24 pt (36 pt preferred) in one of the following fonts: Times New Roman, Arial, Georgia, Tahoma, Verdana, Helvetica, Calibri, or Franklin Gothic.
Submission Deadline:
- All poster proposals must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on July 31, 2025.
- Upon request, the Purdue EMG Program state office will be able to print posters prepared using the PPT file. Please send your poster file to orick@purdue.edu no later than August 29th.
Important Notes:
- All submissions must be approved by your EMG County Coordinator. Be sure to include their name and email in your submission.
- Posters using Purdue EMG branding must follow the guidelines in the Purdue EMG Program Policy Guide (pages 10–11).
- Posters must be displayed by 10:00 AM on September 13 in the designated area at the fairgrounds.
- At least one group member should be present with the poster during the session at 2:00 PM on September 13 to engage with attendees. Presenters must be registered for the conference.
