Marguerite Jay

My name is Marguerite Jay (they/she), and I am a senior here at Purdue. My majors are Psychology and Spanish, and I have a minor in Poetry. After I graduate, I plan to take some time off to gain healthcare work experience before applying to grad school for psychology. My goal is to be a therapist who can offer services in both English and Spanish. It is an honor to be part of the LLaMA lab as I continue to learn more about research in language acquisition / development. As someone who loves language, I want to be able to bridge the gap between English-speakers and Spanish-speakers in my future work. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, writing, and cooking.
