Purdue Extension Drought Resources Title banner

The month of June turned very dry over much of Indiana and the Midwest.  By early July, most of Indiana was rated abnormally dry by the US Drought Monitor, with a few areas experiencing "moderate drought".  If similar conditions continue into July reduced crop yields, damage to lawns and landscape plantings, and fire risks can be expected.

Indiana PREPared has created this site to assist farmers, homeowners, extension professionals, and the public in accessing educational resources and information about drought conditions.  We will continually update the site with useful resources as these hot and dry conditions persist.
