Cassie Apuzzo

Graduate Student


Cassie Apuzzo is a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Engagement. She assists the office with logistical operations, communication + outreach, and is helping to co-coordinate the Purdue United Way campaign.

Cassie is an archaeology graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at Purdue. Her research examines the technical process of blacksmithing and the significance of iron metal goods and technology in the Midwest during the 18th century. Her research site is Fort Ouiatenon, a French trade post that was established in 1717 in West Lafayette, IN.

She graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. In her free time, Cassie enjoys walking dogs at local shelters and volunteering with the Tippecanoe County Historical Association.
