Purdue United Way

Purdue University is proud to partner with the United Way of Greater Lafayette to support vital local services that directly impact our campus and community. Since the 1980s, Purdue faculty, staff, and friends have come together to raise one of the region’s largest United Way campaigns—funding critical programs in mental health, housing, education, and more. These partnerships not only provide essential resources to Purdue students, faculty, and staff, but also foster meaningful collaboration through service, engaged scholarship, and experiential learning.

College & Community Collaboration (CCC) Initiative

Building on successful regional efforts like the Wabash Heartland Innovation Network (WHIN) and READI, this initiative aims to harness the power of robust public-private partnerships and strategic investments. By focusing on two crucial social determinants of health – childcare and transportation – we seek to create a more supportive environment for workers and families in both rural and urban areas. Our goal is to enhance accessibility, reliability, and affordability in these essential services, thereby fostering a healthier, more prosperous community for all.
