About the Purdue Policy Research Institute (PPRI)

The Purdue Policy Research Institute (PPRI) promotes an interdisciplinary approach to bringing viable alternatives to wicked problems. PPRI works to catalyze and support policy research in areas of strategic focus for Purdue, and to insert policy-relevant scholarship into the policy domain.

PPRI is located in Discovery Park, whose mission supports our aim of brining an interdisciplinary, engaged approach to addressing grand challenges. PPRI aims to foster new partnerships, spark new areas of research, and to bring interdisciplinary researchers into closer contact with communities of interest, magnifying the impact of the important research being done at Purdue through innovative approaches to scholarly communication.
