Final Understanding Tomorrow’s Nuclear Energy lecture series event to take place Wednesday

Purdue and Duke Energy will close the Understanding Tomorrow’s Nuclear Energy lecture series with the panel discussion “Implementing Advanced Nuclear Technology." The event will take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday (Feb. 22) in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall and via livestream. Registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance.

‘This Is Purdue’: FDA authorizes lung cancer imaging agent based on research from Purdue

A new episode of “This Is Purdue” shares an update from a previous conversation with Philip Low, Purdue’s Presidential Scholar for Drug Discovery and the Ralph C. Corley Distinguished Professor of Chemistry, who helped develop Cytalux, a fluorescent marker that allows cancer surgeons to quickly identify malignant cells and remove them during surgery. Purdue research: Making vertical farming more productive, less costly

Purdue researchers have designed two simple LED lighting strategies to increase yield and reduce energy costs for the vertical farming sector of indoor agriculture. We were having a problem where someone’s office phone was not forwarding to their cell phone. Glen (Infrastructure Services) dropped what he was in the middle of, investigated the problem, fixed the problem and not only informed me of the solution but also took the time to reach out to the user to make sure they understood the process.
