'This Is Purdue': Boilermakers for life: Anthrop family legacy

The new episode of “This Is Purdue” highlights the story of the Anthrop family, a Purdue Athletics legacy from West Lafayette. If you’re a Purdue sports fan, you’ve probably heard the name Anthrop. Brothers Dru, Danny and Jackson Anthrop were all Boilermaker athletes, and their father, John, played both basketball and baseball for Purdue.

Purdue celebrates men's club basketball team's national championship

Purdue honored the Purdue men's club basketball team for its national championship win with a trophy ceremony on Tuesday (May 3) at the Córdova Recreational Sports Center. The team beat Notre Dame 53-48 to capture the title. President Mitch Daniels joined the team at the ceremony to celebrate its victory and persistence.

Purdue CIO Hyatt recognized for his 37-year U.S. military career

When Ian Hyatt is not guiding Purdue University’s systemwide information technology as head of Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP), he serves as the State Command Chief for the Rhode Island Air National Guard. Now, Hyatt is putting a cap on the military-side of his life, retiring after a distinguished 37-year career.
