In the spirit of celebrating the joy of the holiday season, Purdue Marketing and Communications presents the University's 2021 holiday video, "A Boilermaker Carol." Featuring a cast of Purdue students, the beloved tune "Hail Purdue" has been reimagined as a holiday song. Purdue landmarks and traditions are featured as students share the spirit of the season with each other all over campus.

That’s why defining the mission and vision for his team was the top priority when he started this summer as new chief information officer for Purdue’s systemwide information technology and as head of Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP).

Engineering Gift Guide offers fun, learning

The reviews are in for the 2021 Engineering Gift Guide, an annual list produced at Purdue to help holiday shoppers find STEM-focused books and toys for young children and teens. The INSPIRE Research Institute for Pre-College Engineering produces the guide to help shoppers with gifts that inspire learning and fun. Faculty in the School of Engineering Education and the INSPIRE student research team look for items that promote engineering practices.

Engineers gain highest national distinction as academic inventors

Three engineers from Purdue’s College of Engineering -- Santokh Badesha, Ajay Malshe and Nien Hwa Linda Wang -- have been named fellows by the National Academy of Inventors, the highest professional distinction given solely to academic inventors.
