Faculty and Staff NewsFinalists for dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences to make presentationsFour finalists for dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences will be on Purdue's West Lafayette campus for two-day interviews in January and February, the search committee announced today (Jan. 12). David Hummels, dean of the Krannert School of Management and chair of the search committee, said that as part of the process, finalists will make a 30-minute public presentation and then take questions from the audience. Host-A-Boiler program provides way to build friendships, share culturesThanks to dozens of community members, including Purdue faculty and staff, more than 112 Purdue students and scholars from 27 countries were able to spend time during the recent holiday breaks with local families through the Host-A-Boiler program. The program, coordinated through the International Friendship Program in the Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research (CILMAR), benefits local hosts and students who cannot travel elsewhere during the breaks. IFP welcomes host families throughout the year.
