Strategy workshops to discuss development of Global Security and Defense Innovation Institute

Faculty and staff are invited to explore key concepts for the development of an institute on global and security defense innovation. Both technical and social concepts requiring integrated scientific, engineering, policy, economic and social science problem-solving capabilities will be discussed. Purdue medical entomologist Cate Hill led a global effort to sequence the first tick genome, advancing tick research and giving scientists better tools to diagnose and treat tick-borne diseases.
