Jenkins, Cabral receive University teaching awards

James Jenkins, associate professor of construction management, has been named the recipient of a 2016 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award in Memory of Charles B. Murphy, and Jessica Cabral, assistant clinical professor of construction management, has received the 2016 Exceptional Early Career Award.

John Schnatter to speak today in Presidential Lecture Series

John Schnatter, founder and CEO of Papa John's Pizza, will be featured at 6:30 p.m. today (March 28) in Stewart Center's Fowler Hall as part of the Presidential Lecture Series.

Envision Center's
open house to include
new virtual reality treadmill

ITaP's Envision Center recently received one of the first 50 Virtuix Omni virtual reality treadmills released to the public. The platform, which allows users to navigate virtual environments with 360-degree freedom of movement, can be seen at the center's April 6 open house, along with the center's Purdue-branded version of Google Cardboard, an inexpensive device -- literally made of cardboard -- that allows smartphones to serve as handheld virtual reality headsets.
