'Host-A-Boiler' and share your holidays with a student

A new program called "Host-A-Boiler" is inviting faculty, staff and others to play host for a meal, a family gathering or community event during Thanksgiving and/or winter break to a student or students who may not have an opportunity to go home during these times.

Purdue 16th worldwide for universities granted U.S. patents

One important aspect of research is its potential for application and commercialization. Part of the commercialization process requires obtaining patents. Purdue is ranked 16th in the world among universities granted U.S. utility patents in 2014, according to a new report released by the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) and the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO).
