Stories and street signs: Upcoming workshop
to help parents teach kids to read

Human Resources will host a family-friendly workshop focused on supporting reading skills in young children from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 6) in Stewart Center, Room 311. Registration is due Monday (Oct. 5).

New Polytechnic magjors

New majors ready Polytechnic students for latest careers

It's a new academic year, and the Purdue Polytechnic Institute is at the forefront in offering several new areas of study for students. Six new majors have been created in three of Purdue Polytechnic's academic areas for the fall semester. The influx of new majors puts Purdue Polytechnic in line with the University's Purdue Moves initiative, specifically with regard to STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) Leadership and Transforming Technology.

Purdue flight students will save $250,000 in course fees

Purdue professional flight students are receiving a $795 reduction in semester fees as a direct result of an updated aircraft usage plan. The new fee structure is expected to save students $250,000 over the next two academic years.
