October 2, 2015
The International Breast Cancer & Nutrition project, located within Purdue's Discovery Park, has launched a line of jewelry to support the training of the next-generation of researchers in breast cancer prevention.
The jewelry line, designed by west-central Indiana artist Kathleen Kitch of Glassroots, contains earrings and pins made of handblown, multifaceted patterned glass.
The mission of the IBCN project is to foster the development of a community of scientists across disciplines and public health experts dedicated to research on the primary prevention of breast cancer.
Pins are $25 and earrings are $40. Jewelry can be purchased online through University Book Store at www.purdueu.com/ePOS?this_category=74&store=405&form=shared3%2fgm%2fmain.html&design=405.
